We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to work closely with our clients to identify and define high business value machine learning opportunities. 

 

What you’ll do:


The Senior Business Analyst works with clients and project teams to identify high value business problems that can be addressed with machine learning. He or she works closely with Project Delivery and Business Development Managers to identify key trends and characteristics across industry verticals that help our teams develop a deeper understanding of our clients’ businesses. This role is responsible for uncovering and documenting the detailed requirements of high business value machine learning opportunities and for working closely with clients to articulate how to integrate machine learning solutions into the clients’ business processes and workflows. 

 

A few responsibilities are as follows:

 

  • Facilitate workshops and client engagements to identify and refine machine learning opportunities 
  • Conduct research into key industry verticals and identify areas where machine learning may provide value and return on investment for customers
  • Assist in preparing project business reports and presentations to current and potential customers
  • Assist in identifying and documenting requirements for machine learning use cases
  • Provide advice to Project Delivery Managers and Machine Learning Team Leads related to the development and employment of machine learning solutions based on their deep understanding of the client’s requirements
  • Provide advice to management on improvements to operational and process efficiency in the delivery of machine learning projects


What you bring:

 

  • A bachelor’s degree in a related field 
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in business analysis
  • Prior experience in working as a business analyst in software development, data analytics or AI projects
  • Experience facilitating workshops and client engagements
  • Knowledge of one or more of the following industries: Health, Public Sector, Oil and Gas, Construction, Insurance, Financial, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Services, or Information Technology
  • Ability to work with clients to understand their needs and make recommendations for acceptable solutions
  • Excellent collaboration skills including an ability to advise a cross-functional team of machine learning developers, project delivery managers and IT specialists.
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Strong research and analytical skills
